Creme protectant or spray for flat ironed hair?

I currently use a Keratese spray for my hair but I find it leaves it heavy and i can still feel the product in my hair. Also I feel like I can't get every part of my hair with the spray since its hard to do it yourself.

Recently I got my hair cut and the hairdresser used a creme to protect my hair, my hair was smooth and shiny when I left the salon, but is that because of the shampoo (bedhead) or because of the creme?

It's probably both combined.

But yes, I would talk to the hair salon and ask them.

If your looking for a protectant....

I use Joico Silk Result Spray.

You spray it on your dry hair just before straightening or curling and it protects and smoothes.

I only spray it on my top layer of hair since it gets the most heat. But, when you straighten your hair, do it in layers, (putting it in a ponytail and putting some down straightening, putting down...)and spray as you go.

I put heat on my hair almost everyday for school either straightening or curling and my hair isn't damaged AT ALL.

it works wonders and is about 12 dollars. It lasts you quite awhile.

VO5 heat protectant spray is a really good one its about 3 bux.

:] its in a red bottle.

my hair is severely damaged from dye but the protectant really makes my hair soft and protects really well against the heat of my straightener.

also leaves your hair smelling really good!
