hair spray would be fine for controling the frizzies, but to help for them you really do nee to pick up some hair wax. HOWEVER, be sure there is no petrolium in the wax. Petrolium is a lubricant that will make each strand of hair smooth, and prevent it from locing up.

Another drawback to hairspray is that once it dries, it'll build up a layer on your hair, not a big deal, nothing a quick vinager rinse can't cure, but it'll make your hair look like you have dust/dandruff in it, and no one wants that.

All in all, check out www.knottyboy.com, they have great products and information to help you along.

And if you have any other questions, hit me up and I can answer nearly any dread question you have. Bye

Are you kidding? You'll need more than hairspray if you want them to stay.

Hair wax or hair mud works great.

Have you ever seen people have their dreads chopped off--and all the dust and crappish stuff falls out of the middle of them-- I'm not positive that happens to everybody.....but...just putting it out there. I didn't mind dreads(appearingly clean ones)until i saw this.
