Nope that's not a stupid question. I know people are freaking out by you asking that but that's really an old school trick that women used to really do. There were magazine arcticles that told of how to use that for setting your makeup.

It's just not necessary now that there are cosmentics that are out of better quality. Don't go for the cheap stuff. It's cheap because it doesn't have a lot of pigment. Use liquid eyeliner and a cream base before you put on your eyeshadow and that will help.

You should try makeup that has more pigment such as mac or Loreal Hip...Sally's beauty supply has good makeup also under the brand"Sally girl"

that why you wear press/loose powder to set it, or buy a better makeup. i dont think hairspray if for face. it specifically say HAIR SPRAY. the chemical in it might not be good for your face.

No, it will only make you break out more. Get some better quality makeup (invest in a base too).

NO. DON'T put Hair-Spray on your face to set your make-up. It will badly irritate the skin as it's not designed for that kind of use. I would seriously not advise it. If you get it in your eyes you will regret it more than anything!

Basically, most make up wears off, try buying good brand make up and seeing how it compares. You can buy foundations that last 12 hours +. If you can't afford to/cant be bothered to buy more stuff, then just reapply your make up in the day. It should only take about five minutes to add a bit more eyeliner and touch up your foundation where it's started to rub off.

eeeew good god no! doing that will just leave your sticky faced, tight skinned with a tacky shine. and your makeup will look alot worse not betta. hmmm lets see. first off try using some skincare products that take away excess oil. excess oil is usually the culprit of mid morning fade. after using your moisturizer blot your entire fac with a tissue. it'll leave your skin soft and matte. apply your makeup and set it with a lil swipe of loose powder. for eyemakeup swipe loose powder on entire eyelid before applying your eyemakeup. it was make it last so much longer. hope this helps. good luck!!!

Step away from the Aqua Net! I've actually heard this before....

I would advise:

1) Look for a good foundation primer (Smashbox Photo Finish for example).

2) Set your foundation with a loose translucent powder (NYC makes a fabulous powder, and only $2!).

3) Blot and touch up with translucent pressed powder through the day.

no don't do that..its bad for your eyes and will be sticky. try a good makeup primer to help it stick. smashbox has a good one.

Ha! Do not put hairpspray on your face!! There are much better ways to keep your makeup on!

Try a long wearing foundation ... like Revlon ColorStay (oil-free) or DiorSkin Forever. They don't fade or smear off. If it is still fading, try a primer first. Definitely set the makeup with a powder.

ROFL! id rather not! that can mess up your face. i recommend Fix+ from mac it sets your makeup and its only 15 dollars! thats hella cheap! it also have lots of stuff in the fix+ that wakes up your face rofl. heres website
